Privacy Policy

LifeWidget (“the App”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a free, entirely-offline Android widget application. This document explains how we handle your information when you use LifeWidget.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies solely to LifeWidget as distributed via Google Play. It does not cover any third-party services you may choose to interact with independently of the App.

2. Data Collection

LifeWidget does not collect, transmit, or share any personal or non-personal data. Specifically:

No analytics SDKs are integrated.
No advertising networks or trackers are present.
No remote servers are contacted; the App runs 100 % offline.

3. Permissions

Permission	Purpose	Data Flow
Photos / Media / Files (Image Picker or Storage access)	Allows you to select a local image as widget background.	Image files remain on-device; nothing is uploaded or transmitted.

4. Data Storage & Security

All widget settings (e.g., chosen date, colours, background URI) are stored locally in encrypted SharedPreferences within the application sandbox. These files are removed when you uninstall LifeWidget.

5. Children’s Privacy

LifeWidget is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no data from any users.

6. Policy Changes

If future updates introduce network features or data processing, we will:

Update this Privacy Policy,
Post the revised version on our Google Play listing, and
Request user consent where legally required.
